Working for a better tomorrow –
Where the strong have something to aspire to, and the weak have nothing to fear.
I am currently a Governor of an SEND School and a trustee of several charities. I am also an associate lecturer with the University of Northampton. I am keen to use whatever skills and contacts I have for the benefit of the community.
In May 2022,I stood down as a Cherwell District Councillor where I was the lead member for Health & Wellbeing, Community Safety, Communities and much more besides. This was because I could not condone the betrayal of Op Banner veterans by the the then prime minister. He has now gone. I stood for election in May 2023 to represent the ward of Deddington & surrounding villages. I was returned with a comfortable majority. I am now a member of Cherwell District Council executive with responsibilities for ‘Clean & Green’.
Entering local politics, I was an officer in both the British and Omani armies. I have been a director of a manufacturing SME, Finance Controller of the Aga Khan Health Service, Tajikistan. I have a masters degree in Health Systems Management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. For the 10 years leading up to my retirement in 2015 I was a practice manager of a large GP practice in Banbury.
